she was hesitated to accept the role in Ghazi
Tapsee mostly did glamorous roles in the initial days of her career. It is known that she acted in several South Indian films in the early days of her career. But when she landed in Bollywood she got very good roles in films like Baby.. Pink. From then onward she started
talking about South films in a slightly careless manner. She is re-entering Telugu films after long gap with the film Ghazi. She is saying that she was hesitated to accept the role in Ghazi initially.
I'm not accepting the films if I don't have importance to my character in the film. But mine is not a full length role in Ghazi. So I was hesitated to accept the offer. They can not offer me full length role in this film. Because there will not be any lady officers in a submarine. So they can not give me full length role beside Rana. So they offered me refugee role. They can insert a lady character in the film in that way only. Even though I was hesitated, director convinced me by explaining the importance of my character.. I came to know the commitment of PVP. So I accepted the offer
I did two films with Rana. Even though we started our careers with Telugu films.. we did films together in Hindi. We are sharing the screen space for the first time in Telugu. Ghazi is a special film. So I can say from now onward that I started my career with Telugu films. Not only Telugu audience.. all the audience in India are eagerly waiting for Ghazi. I'm lucky to be part of this project.
