TANA to install Bapu Statue in Narsapuram

Telugu Association of North America (TANA) has came forward to unveil the statue of legendary film maker Sri Sattiraju Lakshmi Narayana who is popularly known as Bapu at his birth place at Narshapuram in West Godavary on 15th December on the occasion of his birthday. TANA has already taken the necessary initiatives and is coordinating with the family members and local officials. It is also planning to hold exhibition on Bapu Paintings and cartoons in December as part of TANA’s Chaitanya Sravanthi Celebrations in India. The TANA has invited Bapu as special guest in 1985 in which a special exhibition was organized on his art and later it has also published his works.
